A Taste of the Family
In the 1970s, one member of the Marques de Paiva family did the unthinkable – he married a lifelong tea drinker.
Convinced he could change her tastes, the young man set about creating blends and roasting profiles especially to appeal to his new wife. Eventually, with the right high-quality beans and his own custom roast, he devised a coffee she couldn't resist.
His wife switched from tea and the blend became the trademark flavor of Café Bom Dia. The rest, as they say, is history.
